National Account Manager

Account Manager – National – Global Construction Manufacturer

We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer and distributor in the construction industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work a growing company in a national account management role building strong, long-lasting relationships with OEMs across their product ranges.

You will be responsible for -

• Create integral working relationships with all OEMs across the Building Envelope product lines
• Become a trusted "consultant" to all key OEMs both in their R&D, technical and senior commercial teams
• Work closely with the commercial teams to execute and deliver the strategic opportunities secured and developed
• Protect, secure and increase market share through their OEM network
• Provide strategic intelligence in support of identifying new product development opportunities
• Work closely with the technical team to guide/manage their approach.
• Identify, monitor and feedback competitor/customer activity

The ideal candidate will –

• Ideally have experience selling into construction manufacturers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of creating relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business
• Be organised and methodical
• Be proactive and able to take the initiative
• Be well presented with a professional manner
• Have good business and commercial awareness
• Able to create strategies aligned to market requirements
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for effective decision making and delivering appropriate outcomes
• Flexible to stay away from home from time to time

• Basic Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (negotiable based on experience)
• Bonus:
  Uncapped
