Account Manager – National – Global Construction Manufacturer
We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer and distributor in the construction industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work a growing company in a national account management role building strong, long-lasting relationships with OEMs across their product ranges.
RoleYou will be responsible for -
- Create integral working relationships with all OEMs across the Building Envelope product lines
- Become a trusted "consultant" to all key OEMs both in their R&D, technical and senior commercial teams
- Work closely with the commercial teams to execute and deliver the strategic opportunities secured and developed
- Protect, secure and increase market share through their OEM network
- Provide strategic intelligence in support of identifying new product development opportunities
- Work closely with the technical team to guide/manage their approach.
- Identify, monitor and feedback competitor/customer activity
The ideal candidate will –
- Ideally have experience selling into construction manufacturers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of creating relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business
- Be organised and methodical
- Be proactive and able to take the initiative
- Be well presented with a professional manner
- Have good business and commercial awareness
- Able to create strategies aligned to market requirements
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for effective decision making and delivering appropriate outcomes
- Flexible to stay away from home from time to time
- Basic Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (negotiable based on experience)
- Bonus:
Uncapped - Company car (hybrid or electric options)
