With a strong UK presence and ambitious growth plans, they’re now looking for a Specification Sales Manager to take ownership of specification success across the country. You can be located anywhere across the country.
This is a senior, high-impact role for a proven roofing specialist who thrives on influence, relationships, and winning projects at the earliest stages of design.
The Opportunity
As Specification Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind securing and protecting specifications across commercial, residential, heritage, and mixed-use projects nationwide. Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, you’ll operate with autonomy, authority, and visibility — shaping projects from concept through to completion.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Securing roofing specifications across a diverse national project portfolio
• Building trusted relationships with architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, developers, and roof tile manufacturers
• Providing expert technical advice to design teams to ensure correct and robust specifications
• Influencing projects early and defending specifications through procurement and delivery
• Delivering CPDs, technical presentations, and product training across the UK
• Working closely with internal sales, technical, and supply chain teams to convert specs into live projects
• Tracking projects from first conversation to completion using CRM systems
• Representing the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums
• Undertaking site visits and reporting findings to support project delivery
Essential experience:
• 10+ years’ experience securing roofing specifications
• A strong track record of converting specifications into live projects
• Deep technical knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and standards
• A well-established national network across the roofing supply chain
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to protect margin and specification integrity
• Confident communicator, influencer, and presenter
• High energy, resilience, and self-motivation
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
