Authentic, dynamic, energetic and customer centric sales and marketing leader

We’re strengthening our presence in the West Midlands and are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. Working closely with our established customer base in the region, you will play a key role in continuing to deliver a superior service to our existing clients while driving new business growth. This role is all about building strong relationships, identifying opportunities, and providing technically sound solutions that support our customers’ success.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying your target customers and creating sales opportunities
  • Visiting existing and prospect clients and building positive relationships
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop sales strategies
  • Attending events such as networking, conferences and trade fairs
  • Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
  • Preparing financial projections and delivering sales targetsn
  • Understanding the full product range and service offerings and creating valued added opportunities with customers
  • Liaising with our technical support division to maximise sales opportunities
Requirements
  • Experience of field based hire and sales within the construction, ground working or utilities sector and knowledge of survey or technical safety equipment would be preferred.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to work within a fast-paced team is essential.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Full clean drivers’ licence

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: £TBC depending on experience and suitability (+ commission)

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm

Pension:
Contribution to a pension in line with mandatory government workplace pension scheme
