Hours:

39 hours across 5 days per week. Full flexibility required, including weekends.

Salary: £13.11 per hour, guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week (approximately £511 per week). Overtime may be available.

• Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and deliver a great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• A people person who can build strong working relationships with employees and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable; the small team and customers depend on your consistent performance.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is desirable but not required.
