Retail Sales Assistants

Location

Birmingham – Bullring Store, Birmingham

Retail Department – Permanent contract.

• Full time – 35 hours a week
• Variable hours available

£13.45 per hour.

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting customers and processing sales at payment points in an efficient and friendly manner. You will also support in replenishing stock, maintaining merchandising stands and tidying item displays. You will use effective selling skills to highlight promotional items to customers and help achieve sales targets whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism with a ‘customer first’ approach.

• Pro‑active and positive individuals with a customer focus.
• Proven sales experience working in a similar role.
• Excellent customer service, organisation and communication skills, including active listening and the ability to be assertive and persuasive when required.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends – the weekly rota will be communicated in advance.
