Are you an experienced luxury salesperson with a passion for diamonds and fine jewellery? This could be your next career move.
We're supporting a well-established jewellery brand as they open their first Birmingham store. They're now looking for a Sales Consultant to join the team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional, personalised customer experience.
Salary: £30,000 basic
OTE: £40,000+
Commission & bonus structure included
The Opportunity
As a Sales Consultant, you'll be the face of the brand-building trusted relationships, showcasing expert product knowledge, and guiding customers through meaningful purchases. You'll receive ongoing training in luxury sales, with genuine opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow.
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
2-3+ years' experience in a customer-facing sales role, ideally within luxury retail or jewellery
A strong passion for gemmology, with confident knowledge of diamonds and fine jewellery
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural flair for customer service
A collaborative mindset, flexibility, and a willingness to support the wider team
The Role
You will:
Deliver a warm, professional, and memorable customer experience from first contact to purchase
Guide customers through product selections, tailoring recommendations to their style, occasion, and budget
Achieve individual sales targets through confident closing techniques and by promoting additional services (e.g. resizing and customisation)
Maintain in-depth knowledge of collections, craftsmanship, and materials to enhance the customer journey
Build long-term client relationships through post-purchase follow-ups and repeat-business engagement
Support daily store operations, coordinating appointments, special requests, and service enquiries
Collaborate closely with Lead Sales Advisors and Senior Sales Consultants to continuously improve store performance
