Account Support Executive

Location: Birmingham

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time (8:00am – 5:30pm, 8‑hour shift with 30‑minute lunch; occasional weekends)

EP Group is an award‑winning, global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and Southeast Asia. Our global headquarters in Birmingham is home to our dedicated paper manufacturing division, providing a wide range of food packaging products for the likes of McDonald’s, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.

We are now seeking an Account Support Executive, based on site here in Birmingham, to support one of our largest customers in the retail sector. You will work closely with the account management team to establish and agree activities and act as the liaison between the customer and our business. You will work with customer stakeholders and internal colleagues to take ownership of service delivery, enabling the team to provide higher quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent EP Group in customer‑facing calls and Teams meetings
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational and technical issues, and improve the customer experience
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services and processes to address queries effectively
  • Capture, log and track price and product inquiries
  • Ensure accurate pricing is maintained
  • Generate ad hoc reports and basic data analysis
  • Keep the team updated on progress and changes
Key Requirements
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships across multiple departments
  • Experience building trusted partnerships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise
  • Understanding of when to escalate and when to take ownership
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Good understanding of Excel

Experience in Account Support or similar roles (Account Coordinator, Account Administrator, Customer Account Executive, Sales Support Executive, etc.) is an advantage.
