We are looking for a research associate to contribute to a research project that provides a structured analysis of temperature‑based interaction technology. The research associate will implement an interactive website that allows users to explore application scenarios and technologies related to temperature‑based interaction.

Requirements
  • Experience in developing an interactive website connected to a database.
  • Proficiency in front‑end and back‑end JavaScript, HTML, and databases.
  • Punctual and responsible.
  • Good communication skills in English.
Role Summary

The Research Associate will develop an interactive website visualising the contents of a research database, enabling real‑time filtering and selection of categories. They will write clean, well‑documented code and participate in UX and visual design.

Main Duties
  • Collect research data.
  • Analyse research data.
  • Present research outputs, including drafting academic publications.
  • Develop or adapt techniques, models, and methods.
  • Provide guidance to support staff and students.
  • Deal with problems that may affect research objectives and deadlines.
  • Carry out administrative tasks related to delivery of the research.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and an inclusive working culture.
Person Specification
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
  • Practical experience applying relevant skills and techniques.
  • Ability to analyse information and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to access and organise resources.
  • Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 protected characteristics.
