Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a specialist engineering manufacturer operating on a global scale. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in precision machining environments who enjoys working with complex components and tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities- Inspection of precision machined components using manual and CMM inspection methods
- Operation, setting and programming of CMM machines, ideally Wenzel XO55
- Dimensional inspection against engineering drawings and specifications
- Identification and reporting of non-conformances
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to support quality standards.
Hours:
07:00 - 15:30 Mon - Thurs; 07:00 - 14:30 Fri
Salary - D.O.E
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a machine shop or precision engineering environment
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection techniques
- CMM experience is essential (Wenzel experience highly desirable)
- Experience inspecting complex, tight-tolerance components
- A detail-focused, methodical approach to work
