Are you ready to take your skills to the next level in the engineering industry? Our client, a leading name in Aerospace systems, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Card Cell Rework Technician to join their dynamic team in Marston Green, Birmingham. This is a fantastic temporary opportunity that will last for six months, with potential to become a permanent role!.

Duration: 6 months with high potential to be extended or made permanent!

Marston Green, B33
Pay Rate: £19.82 plus shift allowance
Hours:
37 hours per week - Rotating Shifts on a weekly basis
Early shift - Mon - Thurs 6-2 & Fri 6-12
Late Shift - Mon - Thurs 1.30 - 9.30 & Fri 11.30 - 17.30
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Card Cell Rework Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electronic engine controllers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Performing solder rework on various PCB boards for both commercial and military products.
Collaborating with your teammates to enhance processes and workflows.
Engaging in a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Using your problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle repair challenges.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Completion of an apprenticeship or qualification to J Standard, or relevant experience
Previous experience in Aerospace Engineering would be an advantage
A meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
The ability to adapt to new demands and solve problems effectively.
Strong communication skills and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Technical knowledge of printed circuit boards, with essential soldering experience.
Familiarity with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology.
