Process Operative - 2 Shift Rotation

We are currently recruiting Process Operatives for a well-established manufacturing site based in Erdington
, supplying into a fast-paced industrial environment.

This is a physical, hands-on role and would suit candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working with machinery and metal components.

Erdington, Birmingham

As a Process Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Loading sheets of metal into production machinery (up to 11kg)
• Operating machinery following training
• Visual inspection of finished components
• Maintaining quality standards and attention to detail
• Working to health & safety procedures at all times
• Keeping work areas clean and organised

• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting
• Good eye for detail and quality inspection
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)

Most vacancies are on a 2-shift rotation
:

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

Limited roles available on fixed nights
:

• 22:00 - 06:00

Candidates must be flexible to work shifts as required.

• £12.21 per hour basic
• 37.5 hours per week

Shift allowance paid per shift worked
, with effective hourly rate shown:

• 06:00-14:00 → +£6.00 per day
• = £13.01 per hour
• 14:00-22:00 → +£12.00 per day
• = £13.81 per hour
• 22:00-06:00 → +£24.00 per day
• = £15.41 per hour
