CNC Miller Programmer - 5 Axis

Job Type: Permanent, Days-Based

Pitstone, Buckinghamshire

Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 40 Hours/Week

Pay: £20.00 - £22.00 per hour (DOE)

• Programming, setting, and operating 5-axis Matsuura CNC mills, including the world's first Matsuura MX520T.
• Creating efficient and accurate CNC programs using Hypermill CAD/CAM software.
• Producing high-precision components for a range of industries, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Working independently from engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Collaborating with a small, expert team to meet tight tolerances and deadlines.

• Proven experience programming and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines, ideally Matsuura.
• Proficient with Hypermill or similar CAM systems.
• Strong understanding of precision machining and tight tolerance work.
• Able to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD files.
• Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Competitive hourly rate of £20-£22ph, depending on experience.
• 4-day working week (Mon-Thurs - 3-day weekend!)
• 1.5x Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays.
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service (holiday calculated in hours).
• Sick pay scheme.
• Standard pension or option to upgrade to a 5% matched scheme.
