CNC Head Machinist – Christchurch, Dorset

£23 per hour (dependent on experience). 37-hour working week with an early finish on Fridays. Modern Citizen machinery in a well-established engineering business offering a stable, full-time role and good work-life balance.

• Earn £19-£23 per hour, depending on experience
• 37-hour week with an early finish on Friday
• 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
• Investing in quality machinery and skilled engineers
• Consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends

• Programming, setting and operating Citizen sliding head machines
• Producing high-precision components to engineering drawings
• Working on Citizen M32 and Citizen K16 machines
• Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards
• Supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor

• Experience with Citizen sliding head machines
• Programming, setting and operating experience (or strong setting/operator background)
• A good understanding of precision engineering and tolerances
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
