My client is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth.

They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Mazak Setter to join their team.

The Role:

CNC Mazak Lathe Setter
- Set and Operate CNC Mazak Turning Machines
- Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs
- Working on Mazatrol controls
- Working from drawings
- Quality control of components
- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
- Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Minimum Skills / Experience

Required:

CNC Turning Setter

- Experience of Setting and Operating Mazak Lathes
- CNC Turner on Mazatrol controls

- Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances
- Experience in the Aerospace industry is desirable
- Experience working from engineering drawings
- Able to quality check own parts
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
- Motivated and excellent team player

The Package: CNC Turner Setter
- Starting rate up to £17 per hour, dependent on experience
- Day Shifts
- Early finish Friday
- Pension
- 31 Days Holidays
