Shunter Driver – EP Group, Birmingham
EP Group is an award‑winning global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia. Our dedicated paper manufacturing division in Birmingham supplies a wide range of food packaging products for McDonald’s, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.
We are now seeking a Shunter Driver for afternoons, based at our Birmingham site.
Hours 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Key Responsibilities- Internal shunter – moving trailers and rigid items onto bays for loading.
- Liaising with Warehouse, Manufacturing and Transport teams.
- Going out on the road between different sites as required.
- Occasionally delivering as necessary during peak periods.
- Class 1 driving licence.
- Experience in shunting desirable.
- Ensuring trucks and rigid items are organised before end of shift.
- Handing over to the morning shunter.
- Adhering to all Health and Safety protocols.
