Our client is a well-established manufacturing company specialising in high-quality metal components. They pride themselves on precision engineering and delivering excellence across a variety of industrial sectors. The role will be based in their busy toolroom, which focuses primarily on the production of soft tooling.

Role Overview :
We are currently seeking an experienced machinist to join a skilled team. This is a full-time, day shift role (38 hours per week) where your expertise will directly support ongoing machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Program and operate Heidenheim and Fanuc 3 1 milling machines. Use Fusion 360 for programming and production planning. Read and interpret engineering drawings (DRGS). Operate manual machinery, including millers, lathes, and radial drills. Manage own tooling, consumables, cutters, and spares. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in the toolroom. Forklift operation is advantageous but not essential. Requirements:
Proven experience as a machinist on CNC milling machines. Competent in Fusion 360 and interpreting engineering drawings. Skilled with manual machining equipment. Self-motivated, capable of managing own workload and tooling requirements. Salary &

Hours:

£19 £ 24 per hour, depending on experience. 38 hours per week, day shifts only.
