Overview
Service Hire Depot Manager
Location:
Oldbury West Midlands B69
Salary: 28k to 30k
Hours:
Monday to Friday days, 40 hour week plus 33 days annual leave. Occasionally a Saturday morning when really busy.
- As Depot Manager, you would support the Director and help run the daily operations.
- Managing daily depot operations
- Stock and inventory control of forklifts, parts, and equipment
- Supervising and supporting the team
- Ensuring health & safety compliance
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Improving operational efficiency
- Supporting logistics and workflow coordination
- Stock management and operations management skills
- Team leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations
- Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or material handling
- Established 50+ year family business
- Stable full-time position
- Hands-on operational role
