Forza is the leading UK manufacturer of bespoke timber doors and other timber products. With revenue of over £38m our vision is to continue to deliver double digit revenue and profit growth. We are at an exciting stage of the company’s evolution and now is a great time to join the business to help deliver on our growth aspirations. We have a strong business culture that values our team as being the heart of our success.
We’re hiring a Sales Office Manager to lead our Birmingham-based Commercial Team and strengthen how we deliver accurate, timely and commercially robust quotations across Forza’s core product range.
This role is about disciplined execution and great leadership: prioritising the right (pre-qualified) opportunities, improving quote quality and turnaround, protecting margin, and ensuring accepted orders are handed over as commercially clean orders. You’ll work closely with External Sales to deliver the best outcome for customers and Forza.
What you’ll be doing- Lead and develop the regional estimating and order coordination team (Midlands/North), creating clear structure, standards and accountability
- Own enquiry prioritisation, resource allocation and escalation decisions across commercial/technical/capacity constraints
- Introduce and manage service levels for enquiry handling, tracking performance and improving response times
- Oversee tenders/quotes for accuracy, competitiveness, compliance and margin protection
- Manage the Regional Order Co-ordinator and ensure strong order handover and resolution of discrepancies
- Reduce errors and rework through data-led root cause analysis and sustainable process improvements
- Stay hands-on when needed - preparing estimates/quotes to maintain quality and support demand
- Ensure effective CRM use and high-quality data across enquiries, quotes and client records
- Represent Northern Commercial Operations at SMT, sharing performance, capacity and improvement priorities
- Strong leadership, communication and coaching capability
- Experience of tendering/quotations and a solid understanding of commercial/technical considerations
- Highly organised, analytical and detail-focused - able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using CRM/estimating systems and driving consistent ways of working
- Relevant technical or commercial qualification (preferred)
If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives on pace, accuracy and accountability - and you know how to run a high-performing estimating function - we’d like to hear from you.
