About the roleCPM is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Team Manager to lead and inspire a highly successful team of Field Sales Executives in the dynamic on‑trade sector across the region. You will be proud to represent Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol with an outstanding collection of brands such as Guinness, Smirnoff, Gordon’s, Tanqueray, Captain Morgan, Johnnie Walker, and many more.
As a CPM employee you will join an Investors in People gold award winner and a part of the Omnicom Group operating globally with over 34,000 employees.
- Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will build and nurture a strong bond across your team, sharing best practice to deliver against all sales and activation targets across the on‑trade.
- Train and coach your team to deliver the right tailored solution for every outlet which delivers the best possible return for both the outlet and Diageo.
- Encourage your team to consistently find new opportunities to increase visibility and rate of sale.
- Partner with the wider CPM team to deliver the brand and regional growth strategy.
- Relationship building will be key to your success; you will need to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the CPM and Diageo businesses.
- You are experienced and knowledgeable about the on‑trade, able to draw on your experience to guide the team and form well‑judged plans to grow the Diageo business.
- You have the enthusiasm and flair to make a significant contribution to our business and the Diageo team.
- You have previous experience managing a sales team to deliver to targets across a broad range of measures.
- You are a problem solver, proactively seeking ways to improve processes and perceptions for the benefit of CPM and Diageo.
- You have good presentation, influencing skills, and experience in evaluation, data analysis, and report writing.
- Full UK Driving licence is essential.
- You will need to be happy to stay overnight (from time to time), travel across the territory, and attend regional and national meetings.
- Great package offered up to £41k DOE + £3k Bonus per annum.
- Flexible hours – 40 hours Monday to Friday.
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
- Company car.
