A well-established Tier 2 regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to support and oversee multiple schemes across the Midlands region.

This is a permanent opportunity with a contractor that delivers high-quality commercial, fit-out and refurbishment projects valued up to £30m.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing three projects at a time (typically two live sites and one in pre-construction), ensuring delivery is aligned with programme, quality and commercial expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

* Overseeing operational delivery across multiple sites

* Supporting Project Managers and Site Managers day-to-day

* Assisting in writing and reviewing construction programmes

* Providing leadership and mentorship to site teams

* Ensuring Health & Safety and quality standards are maintained

* Contributing to pre-construction planning and buildability input

* Acting as a key link between operations, commercial and senior leadership

The Projects

* Commercial new build schemes

* Major fit-out projects

* Complex refurbishment schemes

* Values ranging up to £30m

Projects are based across the East & West Midlands, Stoke and Staffordshire areas.

About You

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager ready to step up

* Background with a reputable main contractor

* Strong programming knowledge and operational oversight

* Able to mentor, develop and lead delivery teams

* Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

* Comfortable managing multiple schemes simultaneously
