H9 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Commercial Project Manager to support the execution of Energy Asset Projects. You will be responsible for all commercial elements of assigned projects, using your experience to drive successful contract delivery. This is a critical role on every project and is particularly important for high-profile and high-value energy infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Managing cross-functional and international teams, contributing to employee development, diversity, and safety awareness, while fostering a psychologically safe and inclusive working environment

Acting as a leadership role model, empowering teams and bridging cultural differences

Leading financial project management activities, including cost optimisation measures to improve project performance

Planning and controlling energy asset projects, coordinating all commercial and risk-related aspects

Developing procurement strategies, identifying appropriate forms of contract, and working closely with procurement and legal teams to prepare contracts and bespoke clauses

Managing internal and external stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle

Leading contract and claims management activities, including financial negotiations and alignment between procurement functions and contract managers

Demonstrating excellent HSSE performance and contributing to high HSSE standards

Ensuring compliance with internal commercial policies and legal requirements

Managing change control mechanisms to ensure all expenditure remains compliant with financial governance policies

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in a commercial, legal, or technical discipline and/or an MBA or equivalent project experience

Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP, IPMA) preferred

Minimum of 5–10 years’ commercial experience on complex technical works and construction projects

Demonstrable experience working across multiple contract types and forms

Skills & Attributes

Strong and confident communicator with a persuasive and assertive approach

Willingness to travel and work within international teams

Strong awareness of diversity management and inclusive decision-making

Proficient in MS Office and SAP financial systems

Fluent in English
