Overview

An experienced Associate Director is required to lead a Building Control service within a commercially focused environment. The role will drive operational performance, service growth, financial control and team leadership while delivering high-quality, compliant services to customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop a high-performing Building Control service and management team.

* Drive business growth, client development and new service opportunities.

* Full accountability for operational delivery, performance, quality and compliance.

* Manage budgets, income generation, cost control and contract performance.

* Build strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.

* Lead continuous improvement, change initiatives and innovation.

* Ensure statutory, regulatory, health & safety and governance compliance.

* Provide clear performance reporting, KPIs and risk management.

Essential Experience

* Senior leadership experience within Building Control or a related regulatory environment.

* Strong commercial track record in service growth and financial management.

* Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex operations.

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.

* Professional qualification / chartered status (or equivalent experience)
