Your role as R&D Tax Senior Manager You'll sit at senior level within the tax team, leading R&D engagements from start to finish and acting as the first point of contact for clients. Day-to-day, you'll be:
* Leading technical and financial discussions with clients to identify qualifying R&D activity
* Reviewing and signing off technical reports and claim calculations
* Managing and mentoring a team, developing their skills and confidence
* Overseeing multiple R&D claims simultaneously, ensuring quality and compliance
* Working closely with tax colleagues, HMRC and external stakeholders
* Playing a key role in business development, marketing and thought leadership This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise, leadership and commercial growth. What you'll need to succeed
* Deep experience in UK R&D tax relief and claim preparation
* Confidence dealing with senior client stakeholders (MDs, FDs, CEOs, CTOs)
* Strong people leadership and coaching capability
* Commercial mindset with an interest in growing fees and opportunities
* Excellent communication skills - able to simplify complex ideas
