Job Description & How to Apply Below
Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a role that promises growth and the chance to make a significant impact? A prestigious Construction and Property Consultancy, with a rich history spanning over 70 years and a global workforce of over 2000, is looking for a dedicated professional to join their rapidly expanding Birmingham team.
This consultancy prides itself on its independence and commitment to excellence, consistently delivering value-added solutions for their clients. The Birmingham office, known for its strong presence in Cost Consultancy and Project Management, offers a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise will be highly valued.
The role is ideal for an experienced Construction Project Manager from a client side / consultancy background. The initial focus will be on healthcare schemes, predominantly refurbishments and smaller projects, accounting for approximately 60% of your time. The remaining 40% will involve commercial and residential schemes. This diverse project portfolio ensures you won't be siloed into specific sectors, allowing for a broad and enriching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Providing day-to-day direction to Assistant Project Managers, fostering their development through mentor-ship and guidance.
- Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
Skills and Experience
Required:
- Proven experience in project management within the construction and property sectors, ideally from a consultancy or client side background.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of managing junior team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Joining this consultancy means becoming part of an ever-growing team, with access to a pipeline of varied projects across different sectors. This role not only offers professional development but also the chance to contribute to a company that values innovation and excellence.
If you are ready to take the next step in your career and thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment, this could be the perfect role for you
