£30,468.00 per annum – Average 45 hours per week

We are currently looking for an Operations Supervisor to join us at our Distribution Centre based in Birmingham. You will work closely with the Birmingham Depot management team to ensure the completion of next day deliveries throughout the Birmingham distribution area.

As Operations Supervisor you will be involved in a multitude of tasks which will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the site on a day to day basis
• Provide driver, warehouse and Trade Counter cover during periods of holiday and absence
• Overseeing site security and cleanliness
• Ensuring the standards and KPI’s set by the company are met
• Completing all relevant paperwork in line with Company procedures
• Ensuring all drivers comply with EU Drivers Rule legislation

• Experience with in an operations environment that demonstrates the capability to build, lead, manage and motivate a team
• Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of transport and warehousing functions
• A forklift licence would be advantageous but training can be provided
• The ability to work on your own initiative is required
• Excellent customer service skills are essential
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages would be advantageous
