A major engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Manager to lead complex, high-value bids and drive strategic growth. This role is pivotal in shaping winning solutions, managing bid teams, and ensuring best practice throughout the bid lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage major strategic bids from capture planning to submission.
• Act as the central point for client communication, bid governance, and review processes.
• Develop tailored solutions aligned with client objectives.
• Write and edit bid content – you will be the chief storyteller within the team.
• Champion bidding best practice, quality control, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, contributing to team development.

What’s Needed:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in senior bid management within engineering or construction.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Thorough understanding of public sector procurement and bid governance.
• APMP Foundation (or equivalent) and degree-level qualification preferred.
• An understanding or willingness to adopt AI capabilities into bid / proposal workflows.
