Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking innovative, dynamic leaders to join our Board as Non‑Executive Directors. We value collaboration, diversity, and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families across Birmingham. Board members provide strategic oversight, support continuous improvement, and help ensure delivery of high‑quality children’s services.
Key Requirements- Senior‑level expertise and a track record of service improvement
- Champion equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Offer strategic vision and independent judgement
- Collaborative, constructive, and committed to making a difference
- Daily rate: £550 (gross), pro rata for partial days (8‑hour day)
- Approximate time commitment: at least 12 days per year
- All reasonable, documented expenses reimbursed

Successful candidate must undergo background checks with Experian, including Experian DBS, Right to Work, and Digital .
