As part of McCann Content Studios, this team will have the backing of one of the UK’s largest and most awarded networks. You will work with a wider dedicated social and influencer team. You will need to come up with social specific ideas and create the content for those ideas.

The Part You’ll Play:

As Head of McCann Content Studio Birmingham, you will lead our social media, influencer, and content practice, driving its growth and strategic direction. This is a Managing Partner-level role, overseeing the Social and Influencer business, and a critical part of the Mc Cann Birminghamsenior  leadership team.

You will:

• Provide visionary leadership and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Develop and execute innovative social media strategies for a diverse portfolio of well-known brands.
• Oversee social, influencer, and content campaigns across various client accounts, ensuring successful delivery, meeting deadlines, budgetary requirements, and performance KPIs.
• Utilise bespoke and industry-leading tools to ensure clients lead the conversation on social media and invest budgets for maximum results.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
• Serve as the ultimate point of contact for all clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery.
• Work closely with the wider Mc Cann Birmingham  SLT to champion the capabilities of McCann Content Studios internally and externally.
• Drive new business development and lead pitch processes to win new clients, identifying strategic opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with leadership in McCann Content Studio hubs across the UK and EMEA to provide a joined-up, seamless approach for international clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, ensuring the agency remains at the forefront of social advertising innovation.
• Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitability while maintaining cost-efficiency.
• Set and manage budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.

• Evidence of delivering new business and building long-standing client relationships that inspire confidence and ongoing commitment.
• Proven ability to grow client business and lead conversations around social platforms, latest developments and trends, social creative best practice, influencer marketing, paid social, and social insights & analytics.
• Experience writing conceptual and strategic briefs, inspiring creative teams, and achieving outstanding results.
• Proven experience in top-level client management and strategic guidance.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to execute innovative ideas that deliver measurable results.

Nice to haves:

• Experience working within an integrated agency, championing the role of Social and Influencer as part of a broader capability.
• Multi-sector experience working across several accounts simultaneously.
