Commercial Manager

Our client, a leading residential and mixed-use developer with a strong track record of delivering high-quality regeneration schemes across the UK, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager.
As the Commercial Manager, you will take commercial leadership of a major long-term development in Birmingham. This multi-phase scheme includes high-rise RC frame apartment buildings, infrastructure works and mixed-use elements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leading the commercial function on a major multi-phase development, managing and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors.
 
* Working closely with internal departments to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
 
* Overseeing procurement, tendering, contract negotiation and commercial reporting across all project phases.
 
* Managing cost control, risk, variations and final accounts to ensure strong financial performance throughout the project.

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
 
* Proven background on large residential, high-rise, mixed-use or regeneration projects.
 
* Strong knowledge of RC frame, procurement strategies and large project cost control.
 
* Leadership capability with experience managing, developing or mentoring QS teams.
 
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and attention to detail.
