Head of Organisation Design & Development

Venn Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Head of Organisation Design and Development to join a leading regulatory body on a fixed-term basis. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team and shape the future of organisational design and development, driving cultural change, leadership excellence, and workforce capability. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in embedding the People & Culture Strategy and influencing at the highest level to create an exceptional employment experience.

• Develop and deliver organisational design and development strategies aligned with corporate objectives
• Lead cultural and behavioural change initiatives to foster an inclusive, high-performance environment
• Oversee frameworks for learning and development, change management, and performance improvement
• Partner with senior leaders to optimise operating models, structures, and processes
• Coach and mentor the OD&D team, building internal capability and ensuring continuous improvement

• Extensive experience in HR leadership with expertise in organisation design, development, and change management
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, delivering innovative solutions
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with a track record of managing complex change
• Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at senior levels
• Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD) and/or coaching certification desirable

Location: Hybrid – Birmingham office at least 1 day per week
Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract (with a possibility to extend or go permanent)
Pay rate: Up to £78,000 per annum
Working hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Hybrid working
