Retail Cleaner

Overview

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. This position is based at Sainsbury's Chippenham store on a fixed term basis until March 2026. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week with various shift patterns (early morning, morning, afternoon and evening).

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies as required
• Outdoor cleaning such as keeping trolley bays free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
