Company Description
Agena Group is on an exciting and ambitious growth trajectory with diversification and innovation at its heart, underpinned by strong social value and ESG credentials, and celebrated as a multiple award winner. Yes, our roots are in carpark management, however, we're so much more expanding into new verticals to disrupt industry norms and elevate our sector with technology led solutions that deliver measurable business impact for our clients, as well as improve the public's everyday experience of travel and parking.
PositionWe're looking for an experienced Team Leader to take ownership of ANPR installations across your region while supporting and guiding a skilled team of Engineers. This is a hands‑on role where you'll lead by example – installing ANPR and CCTV equipment, Pay & Display machines, tablets, and signage – while ensuring every site is delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. You'll be the go‑to person on site, trusted to manage installations from start to finish, resolve issues as they arise, and deliver a professional, high‑quality service to our clients.
From time to time, you may also be required to carry out reactive signage‑only work.
- Take full accountability for the installation of new ANPR sites, including ANPR and CCTV cameras, Pay & Display machines, tablets, signage, and any additional site requirements
- Act as the main point of contact on site, liaising closely with Account Managers and Ops Project Managers
- Collaborate with the Ops Project Manager to confirm installation requirements ahead of site visits
- Install and maintain signage where required
- Diagnose and resolve camera‑related issues on live sites
- Lead, support, and oversee the ANPR Engineer assigned to each installation
- Deliver a consistently high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety, operational, and compliance procedures
- Complete accurate, detailed reports using our scheduling system
- Proven experience installing ANPR systems and paid parking machines on live sites
- Strong technical knowledge of camera installation and setup
- Comfortable working independently and following survey and installation documentation
- Confident, professional, and customer‑focused with strong client‑facing communication skills
- Calm under pressure, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Holds a full UK manual driving licence
- Live in the Midlands with access to a good road network
- Ambitious: we aim for world‑class service
- Disruptive: we’re here to change the industry
- Ethical: we do things for the right reasons
- Insightful: we use research to guide our decisions
- Collaborative: we’re better when we work together
- Innovative: we help people see things differently
