Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part‑time basis at Waterstones Bookstore, 24-26 High Street, Birmingham (B4 7SL
). We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to join our team; we will provide all the necessary training, therefore we need you to bring the drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.

1.25 | Days of Work:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

  • Shift Times: 08:00 – 09:15 | Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

  • Primary Tasks: vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins, cleaning toilets and other store spaces as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
  • Maintain health and safety standards at all times
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
  • Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
  • Reliability, responsibility and a flexible approach to work
  • Cleaning experience is preferred but not required – full training will be provided if necessary
