Caretaker, Building Maintenance, Facility Maintenance

Location: Kings Heath

Smile Education is currently looking for an experienced and reliable school Caretaker.

It is essential that you have previous experience working within a school setting as well as completing general repairs and building maintenance work.

Duties:

General maintenance of school grounds and facilities
Open and close the school and maintain security throughout
Complete basic repairs and arrange contractors for major repairs.
Supervise cleaning staff.
General porterage duties.
Key holder responsibilities
Inspect, monitor and record building cleaning records.
Work closely with the school Business Manager regards appropriate repairs and maintenance
Carry out non-specialist building maintenance works i.e. plumbing and decorating.
Record management and keeping
Supervise, manage, and train team members.

Application Requirements :

Previous experience working within a school environment.
Maintenance experience.
Eligibility to work within the UK.
Enhanced DBS disclosure
Professional reference checks
