Part Time School Caretaker

Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and welcoming primary school seeking a reliable and practical Part-Time Caretaker to join the team. This is a temporary position in the first instance, with the opportunity to become permanent subject to performance.

- To be considered for this role you must have an Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and securing the school premises as required

• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs

• Ensuring the school site is safe, clean, and well maintained

• Managing health and safety procedures, including risk assessments

• Overseeing contractors and deliveries

• Supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the school

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Be dependable, proactive, and able to work independently

• Have practical maintenance or caretaking experience (school experience desirable but not essential)

• Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety

• Be flexible to meet the needs of the school
