12-month Fixed Term Contract – Birmingham

A highly regarded Birmingham-based law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Property lawyer into a newly created, project-focused role within its Property team. This 12‑month contract is designed for a technically strong lawyer who enjoys stepping back from fee earning to focus on process improvement, efficiency, and exploring how legal technology and AI can be used in a practical, lawyer‑friendly way.

Role

Responsibilities

Review legal and operational processes across the Property team
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve consistency
Improve and rationalise precedents, templates, and guidance notes
Explore where AI and legal tech tools could add genuine value
Support partners and senior lawyers to embed practical, workable change
