Litigation Executive

We are expanding to meet increasing demand and invite you to apply for the position of Litigation Executive in a full time fee‑earning role. Our team deals with all aspects of litigation.

• Complete and update risk assessments, lexisnexis checks
• Experience with administrative work
• Drafting letter of claim, medical instructions and routine correspondence
• Drafting proceedings
• Analysing medical records
• Reviewing expert medical evidence
• Providing updates to the client via telephone and email
• Reviewing employment reports and other expert evidence
• Drafting schedule of losses
• Reviewing loss of earnings evidence
• Drafting letters to the other side concerning offers to settle
• Preparing letters to the client concerning settlement and prospects of success
• Diarising dates for hearings and court deadlines
• Attending hearings and making notes
• Contacting chambers for counsel
• Preparing briefs to counsel

• Prior experience as a fee‑earner or paralegal in a litigation focused area of law
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently (typically c.50–60 files)
• A qualifying legal credential — e.g. LLB, CILEX qualification, LPC, SQE or equivalent law degree or legal diploma
• Excellent client care, communication and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail and time‑management capability
