An award-winning national law firm is seeking a Corporate Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Midlands Corporate team
, during a period of sustained and strategic growth.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a corporate lawyer looking to work on high-quality, complex transactions for excellent clients, while developing a clear specialism and long-term career path within an ambitious and supportive team.

You will enjoy a varied and stimulating workload, taking ownership of transactions as well as working closely with Partners on larger and more complex deals, both locally and nationally.

An overview of the work includes:

• M&A and private equity transactions
• Management buyouts and buy-ins
• Venture and growth capital
• Equity capital markets and listed company work
• Restructuring

Recent deals include advising:

• major sports and leisure company on sale to multinational sports operator
• leading electrical brand on the purchase of a number of key distributors
• on the acquisition of leading engineering firm aeronautical group

The role also offers the opportunity to mentor and develop junior lawyers and to be actively involved in business development and client relationship initiatives from an early stage.

This position provides genuine responsibility, visibility, and the chance to play a key role in the continued growth of a nationally recognised corporate practice.

You will be an experienced solicitor in M&A and PE work with proven experience managing complex transactions. Candidates should adopt collaborative approach coupled with the ability to mentor junior colleagues. Confidence in client-facing and business development activities is also important.
