UK Migration Lawyers is seeking two immigration caseworkers to join our Birmingham team. We are looking for candidates with strong immigration law experience who are passionate, driven, organized, and self-motivated, eager to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for caseworkers with at least 2 years of relevant experience aiming to develop their skills and knowledge within a firm dedicated to staff growth.

We provide bespoke immigration advice and serve a diverse clientele, helping those facing barriers to entry or residence in the UK. No two days are the same.

You will manage your own caseload, primarily advising private clients, with some support to employers, corporate clients, and colleagues. You will join a friendly, experienced team and collaborate on various matters.

Responsibilities and attributes
  • Handling applications under immigration rules for partners, families, high net worth individuals, students, visitors, and domestic workers
  • Supporting EEA nationals and their families under EU law
  • Experience with human rights applications, appeals, and judicial reviews
  • Knowledge of refugee law and asylum claims
  • Advising on nationality, naturalization, and registration
  • Preparing submission instructions for applications within the UK and overseas
  • Liaising with UKVI and updating clients
  • Handling appeals, reviews, and judicial reviews
  • Staying updated on UKVI policies and sharing knowledge
  • Delivering internal and external training
  • Writing articles
  • Administrative duties such as filing and billing
Experience and attributes required
  • Degree-level education, preferably 2:2 or above
  • Over 2 years of personal immigration experience, familiar with the full immigration process including PBS
