Chubb offers a new role in its Financial Lines Claims Team. As the Regional Senior Claim Adjuster, you will manage a diverse portfolio of Financial Lines Professional Indemnity and Healthcare claims across the Global Markets business written in North America, the UK, and internationally. You will support other lines such as Management Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, Commercial Legal Liability, and Directors & Officers insurance.
The portfolio includes complex and high‑severity cases.
The role is based in our Birmingham or London office and is senior in responsibility, providing guidance to other Claims Adjusters and collaborating with Senior Adjusters, Technical Leads, Technical Managers, and Team Manager. You will influence claims outcomes across multiple jurisdictions and lines of business.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiating settlements with policyholders, brokers, solicitors, and third parties.
- Managing own caseload, ensuring prompt, accurate, and cost‑effective resolution of claims.
- Delivering exceptional service to internal and external clients and upholding Chubb’s reputation for quality and compliance.
- Collaborating with a team of experts and maintaining high claims service standards with third‑party providers.
- Representing Chubb at key meetings with brokers, clients, and London market representatives to build and nurture vital relationships.
- Supporting senior adjusters, managers, and underwriters on projects and ad‑hoc initiatives.
- Strong technical knowledge of Financial Lines and PI insurance, with proven claims handling experience.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
- A proactive, decisive, and adaptable approach to problem‑solving and change management.
