This role sits at the centre of our Innovation Lab in Birmingham, where you'll help deliver and manage a wide range of activities that showcase the firm's most forward‑thinking work. You'll collaborate with teams across all Service Lines, support client engagements, run internal sessions, and contribute to the development and governance of our Innovation Lab offerings. Your work will involve bringing design thinking, ideation, and creative problem‑solving into real client conversations, while also helping to strengthen our internal and external innovation networks.

You'll have the chance to explore emerging technologies, build relationships with strategic vendors and academic partners, and stay connected with colleagues in London, across the UK, and within our global Innovation Hubs through our virtual Lab environment. Although based in Birmingham, you'll play a key role in leading and supporting innovation events across multiple UK offices, with the city acting as a central hub for this activity.

We're looking for someone who is energised by new technology, curious about emerging tools, and eager to experiment with fresh ideas. You'll bring a genuine interest in people, taking the time to listen, understand, and support both colleagues and clients. Confidence with digital collaboration platforms—such as Miro or similar whiteboarding tools—is important, as you'll often help bring concepts to life in both in‑person and virtual environments.

You should feel comfortable in client‑facing situations, enjoy collaborative problem‑solving, and be able to build trusted, positive relationships.

Clear and confident communication is essential, whether you're presenting, writing, or facilitating group discussions. You'll need to stay calm and adaptable when things change, finding practical solutions and managing priorities effectively. Experience in facilitating workshops or group sessions is beneficial, though not essential—support and coaching will be available if you're still developing these skills.
