  • Manage the nationwide team responsible for the deployment and support of all classroom, onsite and cloud based training events
  • To evaluate a plan and to drive the evolution of technologies used to support learning and lab environments across all delivery locations including the cloud
  • To drive the evolution of systems infrastructure used to support the delivery of content/course images to classrooms, onsite locations and the cloud
  • To manage the technical implementation of delivery centre projects including the opening of new training centres, existing centre moves and change projects
  • To work with the IT infrastructure and operational teams to ensure that the IT, delivery and operational elements are aligned to provide a seamless service
  • To work with the instructor community and other business stakeholders to support business need for technology in the classroom environment
  • To pilot new technologies and evaluate success of the solutions
  • To manage the implementation and ongoing support of new technology solutions
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leadership and management of the course deployment and support team
  • Responsible for all elements of the classroom, onsite (customer site) and virtual learning technology stack
  • Technical implementation of delivery centre projects including the opening of new centres, existing centre moves and change projects
  • Ensure that the classroom, onsite and virtual functionality is aligned to efficiently and effectively support the business and customer needs
  • Evaluation and development of technology to support opportunities to enhance learning capability
  • Ensure that the customer experience of delivery technology change is one of continuous improvement
Skills and Experience
  • Experience working within the training and education sector
  • Experience managing a technical team such as IT Support, Systems or infrastructure
  • Experience of the technologies used to support learning within physical and virtual classroom environments
  • Demonstrate experience of having managed technology and/or business change projects
  • Experience of working across cross-functional teams eg IT, Operations and product teams
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of business processes
  • Experience of working to tight timelines
  • Excellent technology oriented knowledge
