This Linux System Administrator will be joining a re‑structured, dynamic core system team working closely with the founder to bring new ideas, technology and a personality to the role, with a level of autonomy that allows ownership of the design, installation and maintenance of the company's platforms.
Key Skills- Varied operating system exposure – Ubuntu, RHEL, etc.
- Solid web server experience – Apache, Nginx, etc.
- Load balancing software exposure – Kemp, HAProxy, etc.
- Solid database knowledge – Maria
DB, MySQL, etc. - Replicated storage system – DRBD.
- Containerization & IaC exposure - Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting.
- Solid understanding of server hardware.
- Git version control experience.
- Open‑source programming and AWS exposure would be a real plus.
- Starting salary of up to £60,000.
- Up to 15% bonus.
