Director of Digital and Technology

The Role

As our new Director of Digital & Technology you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of digital and technology, leveraging technology to enable colleagues to deliver excellent services that enhance our tenant experience. You’ll deliver fit‑for‑purpose, secure, resilient and value‑for‑money systems that underpin the delivery of our Corporate Strategy to 2030.

Reporting into the Executive Director of Corporate Resources, you’ll be a key member of our leadership team, championing innovation and business partnerships, enabling technology to improve tenant outcomes and colleague experience. You’ll work closely with the wider Leadership Team and other key stakeholders across the organisation to shape and deliver our digital and technology strategy. You’ll provide strategic advice and leadership on technology, digital and data innovation, with visibility and continued engagement with the Executive Team and Board.

We’re seeking a Digital / Technology Leader with a track record of senior leadership within a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment, where technology enables business transformation with measurable outcomes. You will be able to demonstrate proven successful leadership of an end‑to‑end IT function (strategy & governance, service, infrastructure/operations, development/integration, change, data, cyber, procurement & supplier management), with a history of creating a resilient and innovative service culture.

With responsibility for a budget of c £10m, you’ll need to be commercially focused – driving commercial value from strategic supplier partnerships. A personable and inspiring leader is needed as you’ll lead and develop a team of c50 colleagues, ensuring they reach their full potential and continue to deliver value. We are in a strong place to deliver on our ambitious corporate plan and your role will be pivotal in this journey.
