Senior Full Stack AI Engineer

• PE-backed by a world top-ranking business! Our client is scaling fast and building AI products that solve real customer problems. They are looking for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to own AI features end-to-end, from prototype to production. You will design, build, and operate reliable AI systems that power their next-generation platform.

• You will take ownership of AI-powered product features. You will move fast from concept to customer, working across the stack to design APIs, build front-end interfaces, integrate AI models, and ensure performance, reliability, and observability in production.

• Build and ship AI-driven features end-to-end, from prototype to production
• Design, implement, and maintain inference services with strong observability
• Develop and optimise retrieval and context pipelines, including chunking, embedding, ranking, and grounding
• Apply safety, auditability, and deterministic fallback mechanisms
• Run evaluation loops to improve quality, latency, and cost
• Design scalable backend APIs and data models for intelligent features
• Collaborate with product, design, and customers to translate workflows into real outcomes
• Mentor engineers on AI best practices and production readiness

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with shipped production systems
• Strong proficiency across the stack, including React, Type Script, Python, Node, or Go
• Proven experience building and deploying AI or ML features in production
• Hands-on with embeddings, vector databases, and LLM-based systems
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, inference optimisation, and prompt engineering
• Experience with monitoring, tracing, and scaling backend systems
• Experience with fine-tuning or instruction tuning
• Experience with GPU workloads, batching, and latency optimisation
