Human Resources Project Manager

A fantastic opportunity is available for a proactive HR professional to work for one of the most sought after international law firms in London, on a 6 month contract basis.

The HR Project Manager will support with various HR projects across the firms global offices, working closely with the Head of HR Operations and other HR department heads.

The key duties will include:

• Devising and owning the HR Project plan and ensuring key milestones are identified and communicated to key stakeholders
• Working with the HR Leadership Team, Heads of HR and HR teams across the firm and other key stakeholders to ensure delivery of key project milestones on time and within budget, resource and policy.
• Interpreting and representing key HR policies and communicating with the HR team and key stakeholders in the firm.
• Working closely with the HR team to ensure key HR processes are identified and followed consistently and correctly and in line with relevant policy.
• Devising and managing a regular project reporting mechanism for the HR team and relevant Heads of Departments.
• Tracking and monitoring progress and escalating business risks where appropriate.
• Collaboratively working with other parts of the firm to identify issues and provide solutions and report back to key stakeholders.
• Working closely with the HR team to ensure smooth implementation and handover of project activity to business as usual at the appropriate point.
• Ensure the project and HR team are regularly updated on project activity and consulted on key decisions in a timely and proactive manner.

You must be a self-starter who is highly motivated and can demonstrate integrity, professionalism and an ability to deal with highly confidential matters The HR Project Manager will have similar experience in a professional services environment and have a deep understanding of stakeholder engagement. Your strong interpersonal skills will ensure you are able to improve the lines of communication internally, whilst showing a willingness to accept accountability;

possess the ability to assess and understand the wider impact of actions and stay calm in demanding situations.
