HRLife is working with an exciting and growing organisation that is currently going through a period of change and development. As part of this evolution, they are looking to bring in an experienced HR Policy Specialist on a short-term interim basis to review, refresh and enhance their HR policy framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing clarity and structure to HR policies while ensuring they remain practical, compliant and reflective of the organisation’s culture and values.

Working closely with the HR team and wider business, you will review existing policies, identify gaps and introduce new policies where required. A key part of the role will be ensuring that all documentation reflects current UK employment legislation and remains aligned with the requirements of a regulated environment.

You’ll also play an important role in shaping how policies are communicated, ensuring they are written in a tone that reflects the company’s voice and values while remaining clear and accessible for employees.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and auditing the current HR policy framework
  • Updating existing policies to reflect changes in UK employment legislation
  • Introducing new policies where gaps are identified
  • Ensuring policies remain compliant within a regulated environment
  • Aligning all policy documentation with the organisation’s culture, values and tone of voice
  • Advising the business on legislative developments and their practical implications
  • Providing clear, well-structured and user-friendly policy documentation

You’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong experience developing and implementing HR policies
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Experience working within a regulated sector
  • Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into practical HR policies
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style
  • Comfortable working independently and delivering within a short-term project environment

Based Oxfordshire – 1 day a week in the office
