Employee Relations, Talent Manager
This role is a fixed term contract for 6-12 months.
The People Co-ordinator provides comprehensive and high quality administrative and operational support to the Transformation & People function, ensuring the efficient operation of people
-related activities. The role also supports the Transformation & People function in providing a first class service to CCW ’s managers and staff at all levels up to CEO and Board. The role is key to ensuring legislative and audit compliance.
The role involves managing confidential HR records, assisting with processes across all areas of the employment lifecycle, triaging and responding to queries, role modelling CCW ’s values and behaviours, contributing to a positive workplace environment.
Key responsibilities- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.
- Process monthly payroll changes to meet relevant deadlines and liaise with CCW ’s payroll provider.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, supporting candidates, managing recruitment documentation, processing offer letters and obtaining pre employment information.
- Support the life cycle of employees from new employee onboarding and induction processes to leaver processes.
- Respond to enquiries from employees and People Managers, and provide information on HR policies and procedures.
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Triage correspondence received in the People Team’s shared mailboxes, responding to first level enquires and referring to other People Team members as necessary
- Provide administrative support to formal procedures to manage issues such as conduct, performance and ill health.
- Actively champion the benefits and use of CCW ’s HR database across the organisation.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and documentation for both internal and external audiences.
- Coordinate training and workshops for staff development.
- Manage HR-related correspondence, including contracts, letters and emails.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at all times.
- Act as system expert relating to the HR database.
- Support the Head of People and colleagues in various project-based tasks.
