Night Public Cleaner

We’re looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Night Public Area Cleaner to join The Grand Hotel Birmingham and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across our public areas and event spaces. This is an independent, hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in delivering consistently high standards.

This is a full‑time night role working 40 hours over 5 days per week to include weekends on a rota basis.

(Typical shift start finish times will be between 20:00 - 05:00 / 21:00 - 06:00).

• Cleaning and maintaining all public areas including lobby, lifts, main entrance and corridors
• Servicing restrooms, guest facilities, restaurant and bar areas, and event spaces including the Grand Ballroom
• Vacuuming, polishing and caring for staircases and floor areas
• Completing scheduled deep cleaning tasks and ensuring all areas are fully prepared for the next day’s service
• This role involves manual cleaning duties and being active throughout your shift

• A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Someone dependable, punctual and able to work independently overnight
• Good time management and a proactive approach to completing tasks
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important

• £26,624 per annum / £12.80 per hour
