About the Role

£26,421 / 40 Hours (part‑time hours also considered). Permanent contract, located at Malmaison Birmingham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to help maximise Meetings & Events across the Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin properties.

You will handle inbound enquiries and ensure the smooth planning and implementation of all events across both hotels, assisting the M&E Manager in driving revenue by maximising meeting‑room occupancy and catering revenue. You will work to optimise client relationships and collaborate with key managers across the two sites.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound event enquiries and coordinate event logistics.
  • Plan and implement events, ensuring seamless delivery across Malmaison and Hotel Du Vin Birmingham.
  • Assist M&E Manager in driving revenue and occupancy.
  • Partner with key managers to optimise relationships and support event success.
Qualifications
  • Organised self‑starter with excellent communication skills and eye for detail.
  • Positive, proactive personality with ability to think on your feet.
  • Experience in a similar property or hospitality role beneficial but not mandatory.
